After only two weeks since their return to TV, Super Junior ranked at the top of Music Bank.
On July 20, the boys won the top ranking of the K-Pop chart in the live episode of KBS 2’s Music Bank which was held at the hall of new KBS building in Yeouido, Seoul.
With the title track “Sexy, Free & Single,” Super Junior competed for the top ranking with T-ara.
As they received the award, Leeteuk said, “Receiving an award is such a precious thing. There are a lot of other people who are working hard behind the stage.
We truly appreciate all K-Pop lovers from the bottom of our hearts. We also thank the family at the agency and singers with us tonight.”
After the award ceremony, Super Junior shared their happiness making funny faces and doing funny on an encore stage.
The group’s sixth album Sexy, Free & Single was released on July 1. It is an harmonious work between house and soul R&B music, and easy-to-repeat chorus is one of the most attracting points.
The episode also covered such performers as BOB4, Ntrain, Jung Ha Yoon, F.I.X, C-Clown, Gangkidz, Big Star, B.A.P, Dalmatian, Nu’est, December, NS Yoon-G, Dalshabet, Gil Me (feat. Eun Ji Won), ZE:A, A Pink, 2PM’s Jang Woo Young, After School, and Sistar.
